God of the Woods
by Liz Moore

My favorite book of 2024. Brilliantly written. I truly didn’t tie it all together until the last 50 pages or so. And can I just say poor Alice?

Icebreaker
by Hannah Grace

Icebreaker is a fun read about two college students that don’t expect to ever run into each other. One is a hockey player while the other is a figure skater. When one of the rinks gets destroyed they have to learn to share the only one available. It’s a cute story with an unrealistic male character but a very believable female character who is glued to her planner. Fun beach read!

The Rom-Commers
by Katherine Center

The cover caught my eye on the Lucky Day display and it caught me by surprise how much I enjoyed reading about aspiring screenwriter and lover of rom-coms Emma and world-famous screenwriter and hater of rom-coms Charlie. Their banter was witty and their chemistry was fun without being over-the-top. I especially liked the idea that the stories we know are the stories we tell so let’s make them good ones.

Good Inside: A Guide to Becoming the Parent You Want To Be
by Dr. Becky Kennedy

I’ve followed Dr Becky’s IG account for a while and she has always just seemed to ‘get it’. Her book goes into great detail including strategies and scripts and confidence boosters. It’s a manageable tactic to use and to enhance your relationship with your child. Highly recommend.
