Celebrating Women’s History Month and International Women’s Day

In March, we celebrate Women’s History Month, and March 8th in particular we celebrate International Women’s Day, where we all take a moment to appreciate trailblazing women and the vital role they have played in our history, while striving to make a more inclusive and equal world today.

At the Topsfield Town Library, we are celebrating this month with special displays in our Children’s Room, Teen Room, and Non-Fiction sections.

Among the newest additions to our collection include Nobel Prize for Literature winner Toni Morrison’s short story Recitatif, which was published for the first time in a standalone version in 2022.
