My name is Ken Jordan. I live in Lynn, Massachusetts. I bought my first SLR camera in November of 1993. Shortly after buying the camera I took a photo course at the Greater Lynn Photographic Association there and joined the club. This is where I learned a lot about photography.
Photography is a great hobby for me. It gets me out and about on a bike or in my car, mostly on the North Shore or to wherever my camera takes me. I also have photographed in several of our National Parks throughout the country and Europe. My favorite subjects are nature and architecture. I have been the recipient of many Awards/Medals for images in exhibitions and interclub and club competitions including a Best of Show in the Photographic Society of America Council Challenge representing the New England Camera Club Council as well as the Photographic Society Of America Nature Wildlife Image of the Year. I have also been a winner in local competitions such as the Essex Heritage Photo contest.
