Art Exhibition: Charlotte Collins’ “Kitsch” (August 2-31)

The Topsfield Town Library is excited to host an exhibition of the work of local artist Charlotte Collins, titled “Kitsch,” from August 2-31st, 2023. This exhibition highlights some of Collins’ work, including a fascination with kitschy decor. This exhibition will be held in the library’s Activity Room.

Meet the Artist

Charlotte Collins is an emerging artist specializing in oil painting and polymer clay accessories. She received a B.A. in Environmental Studies with an Art Minor from Northeastern University in 2022. She spent Spring 2019 studying at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts University. Before that, she attended The Governor’s Academy, where she first discovered her love of oil painting. Charlotte has recently found herself in a period of rest, living at home as she adjusts to life with chronic vestibular migraine. In her newfound free time, Charlotte has focused on reinvigorating her artistic practice and marketing her art, even taking a class at Slow River Studio! She also currently works as Project Manager at the Integrated Center for Group Medical Visits in Lawrence, MA. She lives in both Topsfield, MA, and Providence, RI.
