Teen Summer Reading (Age 12 – 18)

Check out a book or audiobook and earn a scratch-off bookmark (max. 1 scratch-off per day). Scratch off the bookmark to see if you are an instant winner! Prizes include Squishmallows, squishies, candy, and more! Program runs through August 8!

Adult Summer Reading

Welcome to the Topsfield Town Library’s Adult Summer Reading Challenge! Our challenge is open to anyone 18 years of age or older, and is open from June 13 – August 8, 2024. Anyone can participate: even if you don’t have a library card, or are not a Topsfield resident. We are just excited to get you reading!

For parents of children participating in our summer reading programs: what better way to encourage our children to read at least 20 minutes a day than to do it ourselves?!? And perhaps win a prize for doing so?! Participants have the chance to win some of $500 in awesome prizes, including gift cards to local businesses. Please note: winners must pickup their prizes at the Topsfield Town Library Circulation Desk.

A special thanks to the Friends of the Topsfield Town Library for funding the Adult Summer Reading Challenge!

End-of-the-Summer Drawing

The end-of-the-summer drawing will take place the week of August 12th; we will notify winners following the drawing. All prizes must be picked up at the Topsfield Town Library.

Prizes

The winner of First Prize will be awarded “A Perfect Summer Day;” we will supply you with a $100 gift card to Maggie’s Farm in Middleton, a $25 gift card to Richardson’s Ice Cream in Middleton, and a $25 gift card to Golf Country (the mini-golf course/driving range next to Richardson’s in Middleton)! All together, this is a $150 value!

The lucky recipient of the Second Prize receives a “Sweet Treat!” We will supply you a $25 gift card to Richardson’s Ice Cream in Middleton, $25 gift card to Winfrey’s Chocolates (Middleton, and other locations), a $25 gift card to the Topsfield Bakeshop, and a $25 gift card to Zumi’s Espresso & Coffee.

The Third Prize Winner will be able to Shop & Sip right in Downtown Topsfield, with a $50 gift card to the Perfectly Imperfect Gift Shoppe and a $25 gift card to Zumi’s Espresso & Coffee.

If you don’t win one of the three main prizes, don’t despair! We will also do a drawing for gift cards to Francie’s Boutique, the Bagel Bin Deli, Boxford Community Kitchen, and Fresh Look Designs Tanning & Gifts.
