Update: MVLC Mobile App permanently unavailable

The library has some sad news to report: due to circumstances completely out of our control here at the Topsfield Town Library, the MVLC Mobile App has been discontinued and is no longer operable. We are truly just as disappointed as you may be. Note: This only effects access to the MVLC Mobile app. Access to Libby and your online account is available like usual! Read below for more information, and reach out to staff if you have any questions:

The following is a statement from Executive Director of the Merrimack Valley Library Consortium, Patty DiTullio:

We are writing to update you on the status of MVLC Mobile, the app provided by the Merrimack Valley Library Consortium in conjunction with your local library. Due to a conflict between the app’s developer and our library software provider, this service became permanently unavailable as of November 27, 2023.

Please be aware that the information displayed in the app is not current as it is no longer connecting to the library database.

The MVLC staff is working on selecting and implementing a replacement as soon as possible, and we have created a status page (https://ln.mvlc.org/mvlcmobile) where we will post updates on our progress toward this goal. In the meantime, the catalog on your library’s website has been reconfigured to be more compatible with mobile devices (https://mvlc.ent.sirsi.net/client/en_US/topsfield1/search/).

We apologize for the inconvenience that this has caused library patrons and staff, and we appreciate your patience.
