Topsfield’s Response to the Coronavirus

Updated 3/26/2020

Due to an abundance of caution related to COVID-19, the Topsfield Town Library will be closed to the public until further notice.

Limited staff will still be available by phone (978.887.1528) or email  (ask@topsfieldlibrary.org).  If no one answers the phone, please leave a voice mail message. Some one will get back to you!

The book drop is closed. The library has worked with the Merrimack Valley Library Consortium to extend due dates so that nothing will be overdue during our closed period.

An update on inter-library loan delivery service states that as of 3/26, “The Massachusetts Library System and Optima have decided to continue to suspend Statewide Delivery through next week [ending 4/03]. We will be assessing the status of Delivery on a weekly basis and will keep you informed. Thank you for your patience and understanding.”

All new holds have been suspended until the library opens.

The Children’s Room has recorded virtual storytimes and other fun library virtual experiences and posted them to the library’s Facebook page.
