Sign up for a temporary e-card

Want to access online resources, but don’t have a library card?  You can now sign up for a 90-day e-card from home!

E-cards are available to any resident of Topsfield ages 6 and over, and will provide access to our collection of ebooks, e-audiobooks, digital magazines, streaming video, and other electronic resources.  If you already have a library card, you do not need an e-card as well.  E-resources are already available to you as a cardholder.

How do I sign up?

Fill out this form to sign up for a temporary e-card.

Once you fill out the form above, a librarian will create an account for you and send your login information via e-mail.  Please remember that limited staff are in the building from 9-5 Monday through Friday, so your login information will not be available instantly.

What do I do when my card expires?

Once the library re-opens, please come into the library with proof of address and we will give you a permanent library card.  Proof of address can include a piece of mail sent to your house with your name and address, an electronic bill with your name and address, or a driver’s license.  If using your driver’s license, your Topsfield address must be printed on the license.  Stickers on the back will not count.

What can I access with my e-card?

E-cards allow you to access Overdrive and Libby for ebooks and e-audiobooks, RBdigital for digital magazines, Kanopy for streaming movies and TV, and any of our online databases.
