The Topsfield Town Library will be giving away 100 Eastern Redbud tree seedlings, celebrating Topsfield’s Town Clean-Up and Earth Day on Saturday, May 2nd! More details here.

The Topsfield Town Library will have a table at Topsfield’s Earth Day celebration on Saturday, May 2, 2026, highlighting some of our earth-friendly initiatives, including our Fix-It Clinic, Library of Things, and our Seed Library! We will highlight our speaker series in partnership with Sustainable Topsfield and other interesting programing, like our upcoming Spring Foraging program on May 7. We will be bringing a selection of our environmentally-friendly books, and can sign folks up for library cards! Update on Statewide Databases and Services

Due to changes in federal funding of libraries through the elimination of the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS), the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners (MBLC) has announced changes and cuts to state-funded databases and services. The changes are effective July 1, 2025. The databases, services, and collections purchased directly by the Topsfield Town Library are not impacted by these changes and cuts.
