With a generous grant from the family of longtime library patron and volunteer Mary Martin, the Topsfield Town Library and Friends of the Library announce the addition of fifty new titles to the library’s collection, with an eye on making complex scientific topics more accessible.

In early 2026, the family of longtime library patron and former volunteer Mary Martin donated a generous sum of money to the Friends of the Topsfield Town Library in her memory. Using this gift, library staff identified fifty well-reviewed, core titles to add to our collection to help make complex scientific concepts more accessible. We are proud to present this display of added titles!
